Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to help you survive the climb.

Do I need Oxygen before Camp 3?

No. Standard oxygen limits do not force you to carry tanks until you cross into the Death Zone past Camp 3. Save your cash for a better Tent and Crampons early on.

How do I refill my stamina inside a tent?

You must have a Sleeping Bag in your inventory. Deploy your tent on relatively flat ground during a blizzard, enter it, and your stamina will slowly regenerate.

What happens if I die?

If you fall or freeze and die without setting a tent spawn point, you will return to Base Camp and lose your current progression. Always pack a tent.

Is there a fast travel back to Base?

No, K2 Simulation requires you to physically descend or reset your character (which counts as a death). If you reach the summit, the descent is part of the survival experience.

Why do ropes break?

Ropes have a decay timer and a weight capacity simulator. If too many players are on one rope, or if it has been exposed to extreme blizzard conditions for too long, it will snap. Always carry your own backup rope.

What should I buy first as a new player?

Start with practical survival gear: Crampons for traction, a Winter Coat for cold resistance, a Tent for checkpointing, and a Sleeping Bag for recovery. Oxygen gear becomes more important later when you are ready to climb past Camp 3.

How many oxygen tanks should I bring for the summit?

Bring enough for the climb and the descent, with a reserve for weather delays. Two tanks can be enough for a very clean practiced route, but public-server runs often need more margin because storms, slips, and rescues cost time.

Do active codes expire?

Yes, Roblox game codes can change without warning. Check the codes page before spending cash, redeem rewards before shopping, and rejoin a fresh server if the code UI appears outdated.

Is the fastest route always the best route?

No. The fastest route is only useful after you know the checkpoint sequence and can control slopes consistently. For most players, a slightly slower route with safer shelves and tent recovery is more reliable.

Should I climb solo or with a team?

Solo climbs are cleaner because no one blocks ropes, but teams are safer when players coordinate spacing, rescue tools, and shelter timing. If the group is unorganized, duo runs are often easier than large squads.

What is the biggest beginner mistake?

Leaving Base Camp with random gear and no route plan. Most early deaths are caused by missing Crampons, no Tent checkpoint, bad weather timing, or rushing into a slope without checking the next safe shelf.

Quick troubleshooting guide

If you keep falling: slow down, equip Crampons, and practice camera alignment on lower slopes before trying near-vertical sections.

If you keep freezing: stop climbing during blizzards, buy better warmth gear, and use Tent plus Sleeping Bag recovery before moving to the next camp.

If oxygen disappears too fast: rehearse Camp 3 movement, bring a reserve tank, and avoid waiting in the Death Zone during storms.

If rewards or badges feel delayed: return to Base Camp, wait for the interface to update, then rejoin a new server only after you have confirmed the objective state.
